Dr. Laeuchli's Background
Dr. Urs Martin Laeuchli is a certified mediator and an arbitrator (FCIArb) with over fifteen years experience in alternative dispute resolution (ADR); he is also an international attorney. Born and raised in Switzerland, Dr. Laeuchli received his education first at the University of Zurich and then at Georgetown University. He received his doctorate from Stanford University.
Over the years, Dr. Laeuchli has handled hundreds of alternative dispute resolution cases ranging from commercial, employment, family, international trade, IP, landlord-tenant, professional malpractice, and real estate to political disputes. He serves on various arbitration and mediation panels, for private organizations, the State of California, bar associations, and court-annexed programs around the San Francisco Bay area and elsewhere in America, Asia, and Europe. Dr Laeuchli is an early neutral evaluator, settlement mentor, and a sworn pro tem judge.
He has taught negotiations, law, business, and economics for businesses, professional associations, and at universities in both the United States and Europe. His many publications cover subjects as diverse as international arbitration, cross-cultural negotiations, international banking law, real estate trustees, marketing, economics, psychotherapy, and jurisprudence. He is admitted to practice law in California, New York, and Switzerland and before the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of:

Dr. Laeuchli is also the founder of (1) an enterprise which provides advanced leadership development and coaching to corporations and individuals, and (2) Lawmasters, which provides specialized training for American Bar Exams for international attorneys and students.
